Madina Moshkal completed her Bachelor’s degree in Oriental Studies at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University in 2014–2018. In 2018–2020, she earned her Master of Arts degree in Translation Studies at the same university. From 2021 to 2024, she pursued doctoral studies under the educational program “8D02209 – Oriental Studies” and was awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in 2025. Since 2024, she has been working as a lecturer at the Department of Far Eastern Studies, Faculty of Oriental Studies, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. During the 2024–2025 academic year, she served as Academic Secretary of the Faculty within the Faculty Academic Council. Currently, she holds the position of Senior Lecturer at the Department of Far Eastern Studies. Dr. Moshkal is an active young scholar. Her primary research interests focus on Japan’s sustainable development policy and its adaptation practices in Kazakhstan. Her research findings have been published in domestic and international academic journals. She has published 1 article in a Scopus-indexed international journal (H-index: 1), 7 articles in journals recommended by the Committee for Quality Assurance in Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and 1 учебное пособие. Her research results have also been presented at international academic conferences. In 2017, she completed a one-year research internship at the University of Tsukuba (Japan). She also undertook additional research internships at the same university from December 2018 to February 2019 and in 2022–2023. In April 2019, she participated in a scientific week at the University of Oxford (United Kingdom). In 2019– 2020, she studied at Waseda University (Japan) to enhance her professional qualifications.
